The advantages of a parametric CAD/CAM for vertical and horizontal working centers
Cam-Way is based on a parametric engine and is designed for processing up to 2.5 axes. It manages the master data of work cycles, processes, tools, tool paths and the various modes of entry/exit from the part. It can be integrated with the ERP Enterprise, includes a vast library of notches subdivided by manufacturer (Doors-way) and exploits an automatic recognition of the profiles and holes present in the drawing which, through a “drag & drop” association, allows a simple but precise assignment of the processing to the profile.
The integration with the ERP Enterprise allows the full commercial and production management of the project: holes, notches and possible slots with related internal and external profile processing are recognized by the ERP and managed both for production and price calculation.
A powerful automatic dimensioning module is also able to create detailed processing sheets that can be printed or simply displayed on the GMC-Monitor MES stations on the machine.
CAM-Way supports CAM-Dxf output, a standard format accepted by most manufacturers and compatible with a very wide range of machines on the market today.
