Connection with Glass Advisor: PDO Automatic and fast
Preparing simulations and printing PDOs is often a time-consuming and labour-intensive task that often encounters structural limitations. While it is true that flat glass manufacturers offer “free” applications, it is also true that those applications are “limited” to the manufacturer’s glass types, resulting in difficulty and time-consuming creation of the certification or PDO in cases where the glass is composed of glass from different manufacturers.
The integration of the glassAdvisor portal within Enterprise works in the background and requires nothing to the user: during order entry, once the composition of the insulating glass unit has been defined, the ERP connects to the Glass Advisor portal and retrieves the data on the technological parameters required by the PDOs in real time. The certificates can then be printed directly from within the Optima ERP without the user having to make calculations, use external programs, connect to portals, save documents on the computer or anything else.
When an quotation, an order or a delivery note is made in the Optima ERP, an automatic service takes care of sending the compositions to glassAdvisor which processes it, allowing the use of glass from different manufacturers, and returns the values certified by the glass testing station.
The documents produced are saved in PDF format and can be sent by e-mail or inserted in the customer’s WEB portal and downloaded directly by the end user.
