Reducing waste, has always been our priority!
Nest-Way is an advanced module for the optimization of shaped glass that allows a further reduction in waste with results that can lead to savings up to 30% of more raw material!
The system is able to couple equal or different shapes within the same primitive box: by means of rotations and flips (if allowed by the type of glass), the combinations that lead to the minimum waste within the bounding box are identified.
The primitives containing the coupled shapes are then optimized together with the other rectangular pieces, guaranteeing a much smaller gap than would have been the case if each individual shape had been considered within its own primitive.
The algorithm works both on parametric shapes and on more complex shapes derived from DXF. In any case, the coupling created will be easy to open thanks to the automatic addition of outgoing cuts.
A coloring system makes both the outline of each shape and the area of waste inside each primitive clearly visible.
The module is available as an additional option to the optimization algorithm included in every version of Enterprise (and available as a single user solution) thus allowing the operator to carry out checks and modifications manually from the office.
